The cat 312 hydraulic pump is supplied with oil by the main pump driven by the engine. The main pump is divided into an upper pump and a lower pump, both of which are swash plate type plunger pumps. There is a main pump regulator behind each main pump. By changing the effective stroke of the plunger to the main pump, the displacement increases or decreases, that is, the power absorption capacity of the main pump is increased or decreased.
