The main pump adjustment device of cat 312 hydraulic pump usually has three adjustment screws, which are the negative flow control pressure adjustment screw, the power change pressure adjustment screw, and the swash plate angle adjustment screw.
When the relationship between the adjustment direction of the three adjustment screw rests and the power change is not clear, do not blindly twist the adjustment screws to prevent the situation that they will cancel each other out after adjustment. The general practice is to move one of them first, and when the relationship between the adjustment direction of the adjustment screw and the power change is found, then return the adjustment screw of the adjustment screw to its original position.
