The working principle of cat excavator hydraulic pump:
When the motor drives the transmission shaft to rotate, the pump cylinder and the plunger rotate together, the plunger head keeps in contact with the swash plate, the swash plate and the cylinder body form an angle, and the swash plate does not rotate. When the cylinder body rotates, the plunger will reciprocate in the pump cylinder due to the action of the inclined plane of the swash plate.
When the plunger turns to the low point of the swash plate, the volume of the plunger cylinder gradually increases, so the liquid sucks into the cylinder through the oil suction port of the oil distribution plate; and when the plunger turns to the high point of the swash plate, the volume of the plunger cylinder gradually decreases, The liquid in the oil cylinder is discharged through the outlet of the oil distribution plate. As long as the drive shaft keeps rotating, the fluid is constantly being sucked in and expelled.
By changing the angle of the swash plate, the stroke length of the plunger in the pump cylinder can be changed, and the flow rate of the pump can be changed. A pump with a fixed inclination angle is called a quantitative pump, and a pump with a variable inclination angle is called a variable pump.
There are many reasons for excavators to change hydraulic pumps, but no matter what the reason is, the speed of the new pump will never be slower than the old pump. The excavator not only replaced the hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil, but also the hydraulic oil suction filter element.
There is nothing wrong with this procedure, and replacing the pump with new hydraulic oil will prolong the service life of the hydraulic pump. However, after replacing the new hydraulic pump, the speed is slow, and the first thing to consider is the flow rate of the hydraulic pump. Because it is the flow rate of the hydraulic pump that determines the speed of the excavator.
